IBPS PO/MT Latest Exam Pattern|Syllabus|Selection Process: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is a institute that conducts Common Written Examination (CWE) for recruitment of  Selection Officers like PO and Management Trainee in Indian banks . Common Written Examination (CWE) is now compulsory for all those candidates who want to seek employment in 20 public sector and Regional Rural banks.In this article you will get to know all the latest exam pattern and complete syllabus as well as Selection Procedure of CWE scheduled by IBPS

 

IBPS PO EXAM PATTERN:

Written Examination:

A written examination will be conducted by IBPS of  200 marks . There will be 200 objective type questions carrying one mark for each question.The Exam will be divided into  5 sections . The time duration for the exam will be 2 hours.

The complete structure, different section along with their weightage is described as:

  Total Marks: 200

A penalty of 0.25 mark will be deducted, for each wrong answer given. So the Candidates must try to attempt only those questions for which they are sure and confident because for each wrong attempt you will lose 0.25 mark. However if the question is left unattempted no deduction will be applicable.

 SELECTION PROCESS: The IBPS PO/MT selection process goes through two phases, the first phase is Common Written Examination (CWE) and second phase is Group Discussion and Interview conducted by IBPS Selection Committee. Candidates will be shortlisted for interview process based on their performance in Common Written Examination.  Thus it is necessary for the candidates to clear exam as well as interview round in order to get themselves qualified for the respective post.
