State Bank of India (SBI) Clerk Latest Exam Pattern| Complete Syllabus| Selection Process:
State Bank of India (SBI) conducts Clerk exam every year for the recruitment in Clerical Cadre in Associate Banks in State Bank Branches. The candidates are selected based on their performance in online exam and personal interview. The latest exam pattern, complete syllabus as well as Selection Procedure of SBI Clerk exam followed by SBI is mentioned below in detail:

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern:
The exam pattern of SBI Clerk exam goes through two phases:

  • Online Written Exam
  • Personal Interview

Online Written Exam: SBI PO Exam consists of a objective type paper:

Duration of test: 2 Hours 15 Minutes

Total Marks: 200

Negative Marking: A negative marking will be done for each wrong answer marked. For each wrong question, 1/4th mark will be deducted as penalty. If a question is not attempted i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no negative marking for that question


Interview: Candidates who qualifies in online exam will be shortlisted for interview.

  • Indian Culture, History & Constitution
  • Technology & Researches
  • India & its neighboring countries

2. English Language: In English section questions will be asked from the following topics:

  • Word Formation
  • Sentence Completion

3. Quantitative Aptitude: In this section questions will be asked from the following topics:

  • Volume & Surface Area

(ii) Non-Verbal Reasoning

  • Basic Computer Knowledge like:-

    Shortcut Keys

    Questions related to Operating System

    Hardware

    MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access

    Internet related basic questions

Selection Process:
The selection process is carried out through 2 stages:

  • Online Objective Exam
  • Personal Interview

    Candidates who qualifies online exam will be shortlisted for interview round. Candidates need to clear both the rounds round in order to get themselves qualified for the post of Clerk.
